An exciting weekend with a visitor from the US is behind me!
During the visit, I handed over two OT/ICS penetration testing boxes, one from the first generation and one from the latest generation, developed as part of the recently completed MOTION project.
Because: Sharing is Caring!
I'm really looking forward to the feedback, constructive criticism, and real-world insights. This kind of exchange is essential for refining ideas, improving solutions, and driving further development.
Over the next few days, I still have some work ahead of me, finalizing the instructions and technical documentation, including configuration guidelines, and putting together a few slides.
The next box from the MOTION project will also be making its way to the Idaho National Laboratory soon. I'm particularly excited about this next step!
In parallel, the work on MOTION sparked another idea, recreating devices and hardware implants that I have learned may be used, or intended to be used, to attack or manipulate critical infrastructure.
Since I don't have access to the original hardware, I had to get a little creative. The hardware is now complete. The next challenge is the fine-tuning of the software and scripts, which will most likely be the most time-consuming part.
So, things remain exciting, technically challenging, and, above all, busy!
