This weekend, we had some very special visitors from the US. They brought along a truly thoughtful gift from colleagues. Post-it notes from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and Idaho National Laboratory that had been collected especially for me. 🫶

To some, they might just be pieces of printed paper or useful office supplies. To me, they mean so much more.

These little notes are reminders of the opportunity to learn, to look beyond our own horizons, and to grow together. They represent mutual respect and appreciation, the sharing of ideas, knowledge, and tools, collaborative learning, meaningful professional exchange, and networking.

Above all, they remind me of the encounters with amazing people from the US and other parts of the world, people who impress not only with their incredible depth of expertise but also with their openness and willingness to share knowledge and learn from one another.

I will continue using these Post-it notes in my OT/ICS hardware projects to capture ideas, configurations, and thoughts. And I am sure some of them will also find a special place in my scrapbook.

Because they remind me of something that goes far beyond the physical items themselves: the experiences, connections, and international exchange that have broadened my perspective and helped me grow both professionally and personally.

Sometimes, the smallest things remind us of the biggest experiences. 💙
