Artykuł ciężki bo o śmiertelności w stwardnieniu rozsianym. Biłom się z myślami czy o tym pisać, jednak przekonano mnie, by nie ukrywać tego ważnego dla świadomości tematu.
Spoiler: obecnie jest ultra niska, przy założeniu dobrej opieki lekarskiej u osoby chorej, a średnia wieku jest niewiele niższa niż statystyczna ogólna. STATYSTYKA TO NIE WRÓŻBA. Ja jestem w trakcie leczenia i jest okej.
Ale co i jak, a jak było kiedyś i jakie są perspektywy, to w artykule.
Dziwne mnie opętało uczucie bliskości z tymi wszystkimi m.in. osobami popularnymi, które "zmarły wskutek stwardnienia rozsianego", mimo że zupełnie mi są obce. Bo dzieliliśmy mega podobne trudności życiowe. I zaskakuje mnie, że już ponad 100 lat temu diagnozowano SM, wtedy kiedy żył Kafka xD
I jak zawsze: Jeśli zauważysz niepokojące objawy – nagłe, przelotne zaburzenia widzenia (zamglenia, ubytki pola widzenia, podwójne widzenie, słaba ostrość, zaburzenia barw, ból oczu, mroczki, oczopląs) oraz problemy czuciowe (mrowienie, drętwienie, kłujący ból, uczucie prądu wzdłuż kręgosłupa i kończyn) albo zaburzenia mowy i ruchu – zgłoś się od razu do poradni lekarskiej, najlepiej neurologicznej.
