@javahippie Google? That explains it! Of course, I block scripts from #Google domains in my browser for security and privacy reasons.
Why would you try to achieve digital independence by running your own #Forgejo instance and then require users to allow JavaScript from Google just to register an account? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Does anyone happen to know or have contact with one of the developers of the open-source project #Akkoma?
I'd like to report a bug, but I can't create an account on their Forgejo instance. It claims that I entered the CAPTCHA code incorrectly, but there is no CAPTCHA code anywhere to enter in the first place.
The only other way to contact them seems to be an IRC channel. They really don't make it easy to report a bug...

RE: https://fosstodon.org/@hackergarten/116567044862252682
Come and join the #Hackergarten! Meet me there and learn more about #Komunumo and #FitPub, two amazing #ActivityPub enabled #opensource applications to manage #events and #sports activities.
-
Next day, next #Hackergarten! On my way to #Zurich, again with some #Komunumo issues prepared. Looking forward to meet like-minded people and #contribute to #OpenSource together. 🤩
-
On my way to the next #Hackergarten, preparing possible tasks to contribute to #Komunumo. We'll start at 18:00 in the @karakun Office in #Basel.

📢 #Komunumo Status Update
In the past 2 weeks I redesigned the login with passwordless auth and built a generalized email confirmation, now also used for event registration.
Next: defining MVP steps → fewer commits, more activity on the project board.
Open PR from #Hackergarten Zurich (online editor for global pages) will be pitched again on Sep 25 👉 https://meetup.com/hackergarten-zurich/events/310517961/
Happy to support contributors – especially via remote pair programming! 💡

It was a successful weekend for #Komunumo, the new federated meetup alternative: Now there is a header on every page, and on the homepage the communities are displayed with their picture in a responsive grid. Architecture tests with #ArchUnit were introduced and thanks to #TDD we have a test coverage of 100%. This gives us a good feeling for refactorings and also when testing PRs. I'm already looking forward to spending a few evenings working on it next week! Screenshots will follow soon! 🤓

Another 30 min to #Hackergarten #Basel. Warming up my brain while coding for #Komunumo, a new alternative to #Meetup: complete #opensource, #fediverse compatible, will support #ActivityPub, easy self-hosting, written from scratch in modern #Java! #foss

Happy #caturday! What are you going to do this weekend? I'll work on some #opensource #java projects like #gpxanimator and #komunumo.
