Gerade die Entwicklung konsistenter #Design-Richtlinien für #UI und #UX ist alles andere als trivial. Falls jemand Lust hat, sich in diesem Bereich bei FitPub einzubringen: Wir würden uns sehr darüber freuen!

My super awesome unofficial Android client for #fitpub should be #fdroid compatible from current version (1.3.1) onwards.

However, for the love of me, I cannot figure out, how to get it included to the F-Droid repo

Should anyone want to offer help, I greatly appreciate it

For obvious reasons I'm trying to get rid of commercial fitness/activity related apps. I'm really happy to see the many great alternatives! My 2 cents till now:

Training Peaks --> Open Athlete
Garmin Connect --> Gadgetbridge (data fetching from the watch) / Fitpub (social sport networking)
Strava --> Fitpub (social sport networking)

Any more tips from the audience?

Ahoj milá komunito, letos se chystáme na #LinuxDays a rádi bychom tam představili nejen OSCloud, ale i další projekty, které provozujeme – Mamutovo, Pixelfed.cz, Makni.cz a další.
Rádi bychom připravili nějaké pěkné propagační materiály, hlavně menší letáky ke každému projektu. A tak nás napadlo obrátit se na vás – nenašel by se někdo, kdo má zkušenosti s grafikou, sazbou nebo tiskem a mohl by nám s tím trochu pomoct? Případně někdo s dobrým nápadem, jak to celé uchopit?
Budeme rádi za jakoukoli pomoc nebo radu. 🐘📷☁️🚴‍♂️

FitPub je otevřená fitness platforma ve Fediverse, kde můžete sdílet své sportovní aktivity a sledovat aktivity ostatních bez závislosti na klasických uzavřených fitness sítích.
Pro makni.cz #fitpub zatím není k dispozici žádná aplikace , ale nová Android aplikace vypadá opravdu dobře. Teď potřebuje testery, aby se mohla dostat do Google Play.
Pokud máte Android, můžete ji vyzkoušet a pomoct nám s testováním. Stačí se přidat jako tester a aplikaci nainstalovat:

So after discussing with people from @fitpub I have decided to rename my Android app to "FP Client" to make sure, that my AI overlords are generating unofficial app :)

Release 1.1 is out and this will be hopefully the version of app you will see on your Play Store soon :)

Tested only on one phone, so you have been warned :)

Před pár dny jsem zkoušel co umí #fitpub respektive instance https://makni.cz od @oscloud. V mém případě je to dobré leda tak na evidenci procházek. Oceňuji možnost si nastavit "Privacy zones", docela přehledné statistiky k aktivitě a také integraci s OpenStreetMap. Naopak mi chybí možnost přidat fotografie k aktivitě. Konec hlášení.
