    I feel like I need to apologize because yet *again* there are families who will go to bed tonight with an empty bed where a child should be; this time a religious school in Nashville, TN. Can we please, please, have a rational and HONEST conversation about assault weapons in the United States? Please?
    Two facts:
    1) the shooting occurred even after the school implemented an active shooter program in 2022; it failed to protect 7 people
    2) the attack lasted 14 minutes

On behalf of women everywhere, especially at a time when justice for people with a uterus is under attack, I wish to pass this on: Not by shouting or raising of fists in anger, but by the collective whisper of our millions of voices in unison, saying ‘no more’ to injustice (refusing to take part where it is present) will we attain a lasting end to patriarchy as a legitimate social construct.

    Project #1: for kid #4 is hexagonal patchwork afghan inspired by and I call it "Creeper in a Coal Mine" (Creeper separate)

    Project #2: for kid #2 is a huge bedspread for King size bed using thick blanket yarn blanket yarn in "Countryside"

  10. This is an encouragement post for all students and learners, especially if you get lots of groans and eyerolls because of how often you . All work needs to be purposeful and needs to have a "why". We aren't sponges, absorbing knowledge as if plugged into the -- we need to know "why" we're doing what we're doing; if not then true doesn't happen.
