Crackpot #physics theory of mine - On our trouble defining formally what an Observer is:

My hunch is that an observer is a selection of a partition of phase space (or maybe configuration space) in the set set of all valid partitions. For some notion of validity.

(Not) Coincidentally tied closely to how phi is computed in integrated information theory #IIT Which may provide a hint to how observers may relate to #consciousness via a functor between appropriate categories

Maybe most central: I thought the top quark is a fermion? And if so, must obey the Pauli exclusion principle. Then how can 2 top quarks occupy the same point in space? Does that not imply it must be a new fundamental particle on its own?

Her i #Midtjylland er indsatsen skandaløst dårlig.

Nyhedernes udmelding er at "der kan være isglat udenfor motorvejene", men sandheden er at 1. Motorvejene er lige knapt ryddede og har ofte kun 1 snefyldt spor, og 2. Landevejene er ikke bare isglatte men decideret fyldt med lag på lag of isknolde.

Jeg ser *ingen* sneryddere på vejene, og har ikke set det siden fredag, så jeg antager at det er en politisk beslutning.
