I need to share this with you all. I was browsing through recipe websites searching for some new soup recipes to try this season. I was very happy I found out "Betty Crocker" has a website and as I was signing up for an account .... I found this in their T&C's and privacy policy .... I share this to spread awareness about the importance of reading the policies on all these websites ... the main stream internet is a treacherous place nowadays ....

NO, I do not have a big followers list. NO I do not follow many, But I will tell you now ... my few followers and I have a bond ...yes I said bond ... they are my friends, my pen pals ... my thumb chums they are not numbers to me and I am not a number to them. I refuse to be like others who collect followers like they are collecting Pokemon or something. If you "work on your followers list" then you are a very shallow person. How do you keep up with all of them? .... you don't ... plain and simple ... your followers list is about your inflated ego ... that's right... all in your head. So Yeah ... stay off my timeline already ....

it is not about your hardware, or your operating system. VPN DNS none of that is as big a factor in security as the websites you visit ... I had to learn this one the hard way. Stay in the Fediverse People that is the only true way to stay safe ... the mainstream internet has way too many clauses and exemptions on privacy and security.
