  23. Observations of T Tauri and Hind's Variable Nebula provide a fascinating look at the early stages of stellar evolution. Located near the edge of the molecular cloud in Taurus, T Tauri serves as the prototype for a class of young, pre main sequence stars that have yet to begin nuclear fusion in their cores. The surrounding orange hued nebula, also known as NGC 1555, fluctuates in luminosity as it reflects light from the erratic star. This system offers astronomers critical data on how young stars interact with their natal environments and the processes driving the formation of planetary systems.
