I think my former posts on Do Bong Soon show up under the hashtag.
The romance is one of the most amazing in kDrama. But the reason I like the actual story is that every storyline is about unequal power & how helpless people are in the face of abusive power.
Great societal commentary, even if the abuse is shown through disturbing things like the crime. For as ground-breaking as it was on women's empowerment, and the abuse of power, it did miss the mark with some inappropriate humor, although pretty common at the time.

This is one of those that mix romance, silly slapstick, & crime. Be forewarned that there is a lot of horrible crime in it - but IMO, it's absolutely necessary for the theme (many disagree with me though).

Last night @Palegingerette really wanted to watch #StrongWomanDoBongSoon (#힘쎈여자도봉순) so we watched the first episode.
It’s pretty funny, and I think it knows that and just rolls into it. I’m excited to watch the rest of it with her.
