Followed it up with Fahrenheit 451, crazy that book was published in 1953. I like the modern twist on it that now includes the internet, as it hadn’t been invented when Ray Bradbury wrote it.

I watched Wicked (part 1) 2024 yesterday
I was cautious about it because I know nothing of the stage show and musicals as films can either be fantastic or woeful with nothing in between
I loved it. It was so much fun and Ariana Grande was almost tolerable
Cynthia Erivo steals the show with an amazing performance as Elphaba
Looking forward to part 2 next year

I watched Heretic (2024) earlier. A really good film with tension that builds and builds
Hugh Grant slowly turns up the menace to its ultimate deranged conclusion
Without trying to spoil the plot, I was left wondering exactly how long he had everything in place just waiting for the right knock on the door

So i absolutely love this movie. We watched it as a "movie theater night" with the kids. I think every time I watch it, I tear up more and more.
I’m talking about #Klaus (2019). Another Santa origin story, but this movie is absolutely beautiful, merging computer animation and drawing; as well as a wonderful heartfelt story. Go watch it! It will melt your heart

Last night @Palegingerette and I watched I Heard The Bells; a film that was shown last year going over the life of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow near the time he wrote the Christmas carol.
It was a pretty powerful movie. It was about grief and hope. Several moments made me cry (on account of being a dad myself) and there was a really good feeling by the end of it. I definitely recommend you watch it.
