I'm currently a little desperate. I'm on #Xubuntu #Linux with #zsh and #tmux. I'm using the resurrect plugin for tmux, and I've also installed "Oh my tmux!" from here: https://github.com/gpakosz/.tmux
Maybe that's a little over-configured ... .
What I'm trying to get is the resurrect plugin to restore my previously saved session with all running apps in their panes/windows.
What I get is the restoration of all my tmux windows and panes with the previously started applications in there (bmon, qalc, htop, nvim). But ... unfortunately htop is the only application running when the restoration is finished. bmon, qalc and nvim seem to crash. I can see the "UI" of the application (for example nvim) and underneath the prompt of my shell.
I've played around with several configuration options but nothing helped. Is there any good tutorial for noobs like me? And is this even possible what I'm trying to achieve?

Is there a simple way to make its tab completion not overwrite stuff I've already typed? And not put random spaces in the middle of paths that it's completing so that the next tab starts again from the current directory instead of adding the next path component?
Everyone tells me zsh has much better completion support than bash, but I want it to do the baseline stuff as well before I start trying the complicated things.
