#introduction I mostly play traditional #tabletop #RPGs like #GURPS (Finishing up a #Yrth game right now), #CallOfCthulhu and #Alternity. I also enjoy the occasional comedy game like #KoboldsAteMyBaby or #Paranoia

I'm writing my own game, tentatively called #100Swords since I'm bad at naming things, it is a d% system like Call of Cthulhu, but with some ideas from #Alternity and #Dnd and GURPS. Trying to make a d% system that isn't super lethal, as pretty much all d% systems are for some reason.

Theo likes the idea of destabilising the Viking kingdom with a religious scism, though he is less of a fan of promoting the competing religion.
On the other hand, he is of the more Saxony Woden/Thunor form, and didn't like the influence the Odin/Thor Vikings have... #gurps #yrth

It seems unlike the last Viking king (who we might have helped die) this king while technically banning christenity in his lands, isn't doing any work to find them if they keep their heads down. #gurps #yrth

Now they are figuring out how to sneak Christan monks back to the Viking lands.

My pagan druid has not been invited to these discussions for some reason.

New rule: the ranger must be supervised at all times.

Why does the one player with really good stealth always do the stupidest stuff?

This is the player who has been shot by... pretty much every new group of people we've met. (Goblins, dwarves, centaurs)

In our #gurps #yrth game it is super taboo to harm a bard.

Our Bard has written the pop hit of 1000 AD about me killing a dragon by accident much to my characters annoyance.

Very powerful NPC express wish to harm said PC for another song she has written. I share the proper was too do this is hire a second bard to write a nasty song about the first bard.

He went away very interested in this idea. @DialMforMara

We've discovered our biggest elven political enemy had a son 300 years years ago with the dwarven crown princess. We've managed to introduce them.

Theo was offered the position of heir to the small Viking kingdom, but turned it down. Not his style. #gurps #yrth Was one of the top three

Came in third in the snow race. Failed a couple of health rolls at the end which slowed me down. No dramatic running into town wearing a cloak and a grin #gurps #yrth

Welp. My character won the drunk axe throwing contest, did middle of the road on the giving good judgment contest, did the best at the planning a battle contest..... crit failed and came in second last at the dividing up the lot fairly contest. Which he had AMAZING skills for. Stupid triple 6s. #rpg #gurps #yrth
