It seems like some people cling harder to the #birdsite (#xsite?) the worse it gets. 🤷‍♂️

正直なところ、今回のツイッターの騒動と崩壊で最悪なのは、日本のツイッターユーザー、特に日本の揶揄にコンタクトを取る方法があまりないことだ。何よりも悲しいことだ。
Honestly the worst part of this whole Twitter shitshow and collapse is that there is really not many, or any, other method of contacting Japanese twitter users and in particular japanese mangakas... Which is sad more than anything.

En base a los últimos acontecimientos, me parece que el usuario promedio del #̶b̶i̶r̶d̶s̶i̶t̶e̶ #xsite es mucho más fiel de lo que lo que pensaba. Van a seguir ahí a pesar de que se llene de publicidad y noticias falsas. No se van a menos que el sitio deje de funcionar.

This is going to be confusing. Not just because it is an immensely stupid idea in branding.

To me, X has always been social media - in the form of my preferred IRC client #xchat . Yes, I do run linux and have friends similarly as old as dirt. Why do you ask?

In Austria we say "Ein Satz mit X" (= say a sentence with X) when we mean that something went wrong. ("Des war woi nix" is the colloquial form for "Das war wohl nichts" = that didn't work).

Feeling a bit radical at the moment, and in the mood to get things done.

I've finally taken the plunge and have deactivated my account on the birdsite, or should that be xsite now.

One thing I've never liked much on #Mastodon is reference to #twitter as the #birdsite.

Now what's going to happen? Can we talk about #X? Or is it #Xsite? Or #lettersite? 🤷‍♂️

But they are really trying quite hard to keep me away now aren't they.

I was only there to moan at a vendor for screwing up email addresses.
