Awesome. I won't be able to guarantee I can open a spreadsheet years later because Microsoft can upgrade to a new version of Python on their servers at any time.

But at least all my data has to go to the cloud whether I like it or not, whether I'm legally allowed to have it out of my direct control or not.

Time again to #WheelOutTheDigitalDarkAgeKlaxon 📯 as #Microsoft's implementation of #Python in #Excel spreadsheets introduces a dependency on an external #cloud service:

"With Python in Excel, you can type Python directly into a cell, the Python calculations run in the Microsoft Cloud, and your results are returned to the worksheet, including plots and visualizations"
