Throwback Thursday – 2024 Fishers High School Winter Guard – The Great American Game
In honor of the start of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, I'm throwing it back to the 2024 Winter Guard International World Championships and Fishers High School's performance of The Great American Game. The show was inspired by A League Of Their Own, as you can tell from the costuming, as well as from the music heard as the guard set up for their performance. -

The "bad" news: I'm working this morning, migrating databases for a client to a new drive on their server, hopefully improving their server's performance overall.
The good news: I'm doing this while watching WGI Color Guard Open Class Finals, so is it really work? Who's watching with me?

Man what a crazy day of #congress voting over and over, mailing off stuff to my brother that I apparently took from my nephew by accident over the holiday, and trying to catch up on #work ! Oh, and I had to take my daughter to a doctors appointment and take her back to school for #WinterGuard practice. I don't know if I should be tired or #dead !
At least I can stop working without having to take a vote.

With the recent announcement that SCV was going inactive for 2023, most fans’ attention is on the drum corps part of the organization, but it was not that long ago that the Vanguard featured a world class winterguard which won multiple championships before shutting down after 2016.
