The strategy of the #WildCarrot there is a number of satellite secondary umbrellas supporting #flowers that are far appart and pale in comparison to the main central umbrella that is colourful and sometimes as a pure red flower right in the middle. Only the central umbrella is fertile. This present a very large spatial coverage for pollinator to spot and get directed to the centre of the plant. This also allows to protect from #foraging things like me that will take the high umbrellas only.
