  22. In Gees (Eifel) rollt man am ersten Samstag nach Karneval, der Tag vor "Scheven Sunnich", ein mit brennendem Stroh gefülltes Rad den Berg hinunter. So wird der Winter vertrieben. Zum Brauch gehören auch ein Lied und das Einsammeln von Eiern in dem 300-Seelen-Dorf, die hinterher zusammen verspeist werden.
