A #Wikimania2024, j'ai découvert l'extension Citation Watchlist pour #Wikipedia qui permet de détecter l'utilisation de sources dans une liste pré-établie de noms de domaine. L'outil ajoute des indicateurs visuels, ici ✋. Je vois plusieurs utilisations :
- modération et contrôle qualité de Wikipédia par les wikipédiens
- suivi des ingérences/manipulations à l'aide de faux-sites d'info
- suivre les mentions d'une revue
- personnes intéressées par les revues prédatrices

I missed a few sessions I wanted to attend during Wikimania - but since they were recorded (and, I will say, very well recorded! with useful views and slides and all that!), I can catch up.
Just watched the OpenRefine tutorial (https://wikimania.eventyay.com/2024/talk/PBMMEJ/), and it was Very Good. Great presentation, gives the basics in an entertaining and useful manner...
... and now I need to find fun data sets to play with.

Travelling home today from my first in-person Wikimania. It was fantastic, but exhausting - I'm not sure I ever felt that weird mix of being so socially worn-out and super-energized with ideas and goodwill. I have code to write, stuff to contribute to (may or may not have already started... and had my first (I think) oopsie of editing Wikidata with the wrong account).
Anyway, I'm really happy I decided to come and was able to make it! -
Travelling home today from my first in-person Wikimania.
