Gotta wonder what it means when the Premier of #Manitoba shows up in the #Whiteshell to talk about a highway building project and neither she, nor our MLA, nor the Transportation Minister even *mention* that this highway will be through a Provincial Park. The Minister for Environment and Climate and the Minister for Sport, Culture, and Heritage (tourism) weren't even there.
I wonder what messages we should take from that.

Hey, #Whiteshell folks. Tomorrow, May 19, at 10:30am, there will be a press conference with Heather Stefanson and Wayne Ewasko and others at the old Falcon Motel site just off the highway.
Apparently it is about twinning the highway through the Park.
This could have a big (and negative) impact on both humans and non-humans alike. Cottagers, residents, businesses, wilderness, waterways, and wetlands all have a stake in what happens with this project.

I was trying to avoid an obvious arrangement of something symmetrical. After riding one day, we'd given the horses some oats and got them out the barn and I turned around to shut off the lights. And there it was, this really sweet symmetry of the stalls, the chains, the saddle pads hanging on the ropes.
