Tonight was awesome.

This patch literally & spiritually moved a lot of people tonight. We walked through some doors of perception together.

Normally #westernmasselectronics posts are about everyone, but I’m just so proud my #rubicon set went off so well. Got a lot of compliments from audience members who really got it.

I’m not sure it could be reproduced without the technical and social environment of #thcc.

I guess I'm making a zine for the #westernmasselectronics scene because we keep finding out too late that our friends had a show.

If you've performed at Western Mass Electronics, Rubicon, or one of the house parties around here, hit me up and tell me when and where you're playing in June and July!

I'll be playing, too, probably workshopping my current instrument, a #plugdata patch controlled by an #ObliquePalette to control overlapping samples, building extremely complex timbres that encourage auditory hallucination.

Just made a recording I’m really proud of. I’m really enjoying being able to explore the analog inputs that the #ObliquePalette gives me in #plugdata .

I haven’t hooked them up to external modular gear yet. That’s next.

Still gotta optimize for sample rate, but it’s already fun to play with!

Shown: me playing it with #westernmasselectronics last week! Recording is coming, but the track I just did is basically the same as my set that night, but 3x the length and with a few refinements.

I'm gonna have stickers at the next #westernmasselectronics ! I've got some other ideas to try, but first up is this one that synthesizes (ha) the Western Electric logo with a transistor!

Might set up a store someday, but for now they'll only be available from me at the show!

Also, this is important because I can't make the next #westernmasselectronics for the second month in a row for family stuff. @Hissquiet and I will be there tomorrow, so you should come hang out and see/play/be weird machines, and then get to The Quarters on September 14 so you can record stuff and tell me how great it was!
