  1. Hobart reached a new highest temperature for May with 25.8 ºC at 12.58 this afternoon, exceeding the 25.7 ºC registered on the 1st in 1997.
    And in the time it's taken me to type this up, it reached 26.0 ºC at 13.10
    Further increases remain possible.
