@cianhan Any equivalent replacement would cost approximately $1,000 per month for five years. Even a pre-owned example might cost $600 per month X 60.
Thatโs $7,000 to $12,000 per year for five years! ๐ณ
It is worth it to me to keep this car purring like a happy kitten with expert maintenance and timely repairs.
I rent cars from time to time, and there are still brand new cars costing $50K that donโt have all the features or capabilities of this one.

@SamTheGeek @Nir_Kahn Mine arenโt early noughties, but the models were on their last year of production:
1๏ธโฃ #W203 #C-Class 2006. Discontinued that year. 149,000 miles from new.
2๏ธโฃ #W211 #E-Class 2007. Discontinued that year. 89,000 miles from new. Both drive and operate like new and are inexpensive to maintain.
Wonโt mention rust, since living in SoCal, with very low humidity, nothing rusts here. It wouldnโt be a fair assessment.
