#ffmpeg has also something to say when it comes to embedded info of images, audio and video files.

The easiest way might be the #VLCplayer.

Even tho the standard this tool is setting, simply because of adaptation by the general public and OS systems might not be the correct one, here a simple short take on how to use it.

In this case just to have some notes about media at hand.

Heute rausgefunden, dass man web #radio auch aus'm terminal hören kann, wenn man den #vlcplayer per cvlc und mit der passenden URL startet.
Dafür erstmal n kleines #python #script geschrieben :)

Das Projekt @videolan wurde 1996 als Schulprojekt gestartet und 2001 wurde die erste Version des VLCPlayer veröffentlicht. Ein #FOSS-Urgestein also, das mit der Zeit gegangen ist. Heute für alle Plattformen verfügbar mit einer ansprechenden Smartphone-App. Perfekt für die Wiedergabe von Audio, Video und Streaming jeglicher Art. :toot:

Espérons la magie qu'un jour media player classic, alias MPC, voit un portage pleinement fonctionnel sous linux sans vine. En effet, en dehors des utilisations basiques, VLC est assez chiant à l'usage

به نظرم یکی از بهترین آپدیت هایی که پخش کننده های ویدئو میتونن بدن، امکان عکس گرفتن از فریم خاصی از فیلمه. #vlcplayer برای pc این امکان رو داره(عکس گرفتن یا ضبط بخشی از فیلم) ولی هنوز برای اندروید برنامه این امکانو نیاورده.

Per Zufall heute rausgefunden, dass #VLC #Player wohl ein Problem mit #Wayland hat (oder Wayland mit VLC, keine Ahnung).
Jedenfalls machte das einen neuen Player notwendig (hab jetzt #DragonPlayer, geht gut), da sich #MP4 Dateien nicht mehr abspielen ließen (es ging mal vor ein paar Systemupdates). Nach einigen Versuchen gabs die Meldung #XWayland wäre #gecrasht.
Hat jemand ähnliche #Probleme oder ne Ahnung, woran das liegt? Habe gelesen, dass das wohl seit neuestem häufiger auftritt. Hatte angenommen es läge an der veralteten #Qt Version im VLC Player. Aber das war es wohl nicht. Oder liegt es vllt an #KDE #Plasma?
Jemand ne Ahnung?
