These rare elusive silk moths with their glowing wings make their nests in caves and underground spaces. Their webs, nests and chrysali are harvested and spun into fine threads for making clothing and other textiles. They are considered to be creatures of Lilith, Goddess of Darkness, as she cares for all nocturnal and darkness-loving species.

Mynarth Penitentiary is one of the most notorious Varathusian prisons, located on the outskirts of the city of Mynarth. It's a maximum security installation. Grim brutalist architecture sets the mood. Draconian punishments are frequently meted out by guards and inmates alike.

Lord Zendaar is a maarvrage (species of dragon in the Fenian Galaxy). He is also a sorcerer. He made his home within the underground caverns of the Dermanshiel enclave in Northern Malvania. He doesn't reveal much of his past life. What is known about him can be read in my novel "The Unborn Child" and in my short story collection "Children of the Desert".

CULTURE & WORLD-BUILDING FROM MY FANTASY UNIVERSE

The original main purpose of Varagan death tokens was for conducting sacred rituals. They are made from specialised metal coloured and textured to resemble slate. They are embossed with spell-form runes. In more recent times, stylised replicas made from plastic resins have become popular as playing pieces for certain board games.

Cellphones are widely used throughout the Fenian Galaxy. They started out being used by business people. Their use spread to the general population. These are examples of what Fenian cellphones look like. The display screen shows up when the controls are activated.

Malvanians love their technology. They prefer their computers and other devices to have cases made from brushed metal or stone. The keyboards and other interfaces only show up when activated.

Virians lag behind most of the other Fenian worlds in their level of technology. Their computer systems are slow and clunky in comparison with those of the Mondians, Malvanians and Varathusians.

Asmiel Kazimierz trained to be a lawyer, but later abandoned the legal profession and became a private investigator. He had one son, Vibert. His wife Vibernia died from a tragic illness. He tends to be rather formal and old-fashioned in his manners.
