I made a #reddit account to resucitate r/Lidei, the subreit for a discord #conpidgin community ( #viossa copycat) that I'm a moderator of.
But because my account is new, reddit doesn't trust it to do anything!
I can't change my avatar, I can't post to my own community, I can't even talk to support! -
If you want to learn a #conpidgin like #viossa , but viossa itself is not the thing for you for whatever reason, #lidei is currently going through one of its best moments, with multiple users new and old participating and learning. This is one of the best times there have been to learn the language!

In #lidei , a viossa-like I help run, he have many users bouncing off hard. So joined brota (another viossalike) and the og #viossa to get a fresh view on learning a viossalike and see if it's really that hard.
My conclussion is that it's piss easy and these people just have a massive skill issue lol.

I'm in a discord #conlang server where we're making a language we're not allowed to translate to/from, such that it can only be learned through immersion and deduction, akin to #viossa .
It's called #lidei and it's produced some... peculiar inside jokes.

Hey, what's up! I'm Isi, or soweli Isi in toki pona. I'm a therian creature on the internet :3. I was formerly a lurker on the Fedi and want to see what it's like to have an account here.
I am interested in #conlang s, specifically engineered languages. The conlangs I'm most involved in are #Viossa, #Toaq, and #TokiPona.

Just learnt there is a conlang called #Viossa where you're only allowed to teach the language in itself :-o
Four words are allowed to be translated, and are taught to newcomers:
yes
no

You can add your own joke about Viossa and #techcomm developer documentation

what happens if a bunch of linguists come together to create a pidgin #language?
#Viossa seems pretty interesting:
