My wife has been harvesting this morning and will be preserving #Vegetables today. She makes her own pasta sauce from scratch so the tomatoes come in handy all winter.

Today was Bunny Salad Day, so I had a look at what they had, and of course (Murphy's Law) they didn't have any truly gigantic ones. I bought the biggest they had today, but it's only around 600 g / 1.3 lb. The biggest ones I've seen there must be around a full kilogram.
They're just labelled Nantes carrots, which is a cultivar I've grown before, but they didn't get this big for us.
Anyway, George, meet Carrot. Carrot, meet George. (For those who don't know, George is a 15 lb bunny...)
