Breathtaking feeling on this broad valley north from Kommagelva.

Hiking bridge over Kommagelva in Varanger national park enables one to hike north/south on Eastern part of it. Very useful.
There was also a weather station next to the bridge.

There are lots and lots of nice little streams in Varanger. Often overflowing with melting snow at the time of my trip there.

Occassionally the terrain was quite rocky on mid-Eastern part of the park. And grey day could have made the mood gloomy, but that wasn't really in my mind as I was occupied just trying to find my way in the little snowy ground in late May. Kept me well occupied 😊.

On the first and last day of my #varanger #backpacking trip I enjoyed #Nattfjelldalen valley and waterfall. Quite scenic - and on easy reach for day #hiking as well, the parking spot being just outside #Vadsö in Norway.
