The RPG Gazette did a pretty fantastic series of articles looking at the three main sects in Vampire: The Masquerade, both from within the fiction and without, seriously considering how they operate, what they represent, and what to do with all that.
Highly recommended for anyone else who thinks too much about all that.

chui en train de lire le wiki de Vampire the Masquerade pour mieux comprendre la nouvelle saison de Dimension 20 et je suis un poil perdu parce que dans le dernier Adventuring Party iels parlent d'utiliser des gens et de Thin-Blood, notions qu'en soit je pense avoir comprise, mais de ce que je comprends la 5e de VtM (celle qu'iels jouent) utilisent moins la notion de Blood Potency, notion qui m'a l'air assez liée à tout ce schmilblik vu que c'est lié à la génération du vampire. et j'ai vu aucune mention de génération/blood potency sur leurs fiches de perso. De ce que Brennan a dit je pars du principe qu'iels ont touste un assez bas lvl de blood potency vu qu'il avait l'air de dire qu'iels étaient enclin'es à créer facilement des Thin Blood dans ce même AP, mais quand on regarde notamment le perso de Shiobban je trouve ça assez surprenant qu'elle soit aussi "récente" alors qu'il me semble qu'elle ait mentionné Louis 16 (en comparaison avec le perso d'Emily qui est très clairement un vampire recent (son nom (Childer) fait directement référence à ça)). Ce pavé est très certainement pas clair, je me suis pas relu et je découvre plein d'informations via le wiki et les reddit que clairement je maitrise pas encore + je sais que la team D20 a tendance a pas mal homebrew, encore plus sur les jdr qui sont pas DnD

I came to a weird realization this morning, after listening to a #VampireTheMasquerade podcast.

You know some shit is just too crazy to make up. For my game of #VampireTheMasquerade there is a ghost named Lucy. Copilot has been helping with some of the writing and image generation, and it has generated many images of Lucy and her grave, and other NPCs. So I just now asked it to make an image of Lucy's grave with Lucy floating above it, and it came back with......

If you are a #ProgMetal fan at all, I'm sure you have heard Dream Theater's "Metropolist Part 2: Scenes from a Memory". The album tells a haunting story of a man who sees visions of a woman's murder, and comes to believe he is the reincarnation of this woman.
This story has one of the craziest, most twisted and terrifically fucked up endings of any story.
Even though you have probably heard it, I am drawing inspiration from this story for my next chapter of #VampireTheMasquerade. I can't wait for my players to start seeing memories from Victoria Page.

Saw that I had Vampire: Redemption in my GoG collection. And decided I should replay it after so long.
Gotta say, absolute banger so far. It has both non-comedic and very hammy writing, which (I think) is something which modern games have lost. I also enjoy that the main character (at least initially) is just some guy dealing with inner conflict (hes thirsty for a nun, but religion) rather than some chosen one arc.

Would it be too ambitious of me to try to re-tell Dream Theater’s “Metropolis Part 2 Scenes From a Memory” as a chapter of #vampirethemasquerade ? I know the next chapter will involve a ghost, and the vampires will have to investigate the events that led to the ghost’s death. And then get revenge.
