On this day in 2008, Valkyria Chronicles was released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan. An anime alternate-world take on World War II in a tactical role playing style, it later received a remaster on PlayStation 4, PC, and Switch.

On this day in 2008, Valkyria Chronicles was released in North America for the PS3. One of the few tactical RPGs I like, it's got such a wonderful cast of characters, and one of my favorite love stories in gaming.
