  1. When you're on any global social sharing platforms - it's really beneficial to not assume that everyone you're engaging with is a US citizen.

    It is important to remember that you're on global sharing arenas & to resist doing more USA #exceptionalism / #USACentric crap. Most of us on these globally accessible social sharing platforms do not live in the USA. The USA is only a tiny part of a large global audience. Just because they're often the loudest online - doesn’t mean they're more important than every other sovereign nation on the planet. It is that #USA #arrogance that most of the global population is sick & tired of.

  2. The #EU may have gotten ahead of #USAcentric thinking again. I still have to do a more detailed analysis, but it looks like the #EUPL v1.2 was #OSIcertified in July 2017, is compatible with most FOSS licenses including the #GPL, and Section 3 purportedly closes the #SaaS loophole I've publicly discussed before.
