Kuwentong #UPCAT ko. I only applied to DLSU (because Zobel) and UP (of course, and because my mom studied there and my sister was studying there then). Stayed overnight at my sister's place in UP BLISS before the exam. Felt feverish while taking the exam inside an air-conditioned room at Bocobo Hall. Slept a lot afterwards to recover. But it was worth it because I ended up getting into the top 50 among *all* examinees and thus I got the elite Oblation Scholarship. 😊

* I had to translate half of the questions into English first.
* I've encountered Filipino words I've never heard of in my 10 years of formal education (we only had up to Grade 10 then).
* Imagine, my favourite subjects—mathematics and the various sciences—were very alien to me because the questions were in Filipino.ROFL.
