> Forced to use Google Docs on my tablet because the space bar won't work in WordIs LibreOffice available for your tablet OS? If not, a service hosting the web version of OnlyOffice could be an option.
I use a hosted service at hub.iridescent.nz, which integrates NextCloud, for syncing folders and documents, with OnlyOffice for editing them in a browser.

This clip is definately more fun if you're familiar with the Wes Anderson look, and recognize the stylistic elements. You don't have to watch all of Anderson's work. There's also a tutorial on how to take photos in just that look, which gives quite a good idea:

@dyownie @luthien1126 I miss my grandma's #KareKare :sadness:

Finally tried Bebang's halo-halo and I now get the hype. Got the Presidential version with finely shaved ice and lots of mix-ins and toppings.

I initially planned to read this during Christmas. Good thing I didn't because Connolly's The Book of Lost Things is no cheery read.

The latest article I did for Smile online (Cebu Pac's publication) is already live! It's a short roundup of Singapore spots that boast great design and architecture. Writing this made me miss SG.
A quick note on the Central Fire Station: the lookout tower is 111 feet, as in my original submission, *not* 11 feet. I've already alerted the editor to correct this.

So many photos from yesterday's food crawl/photo walk in Binondo, touted as the world's oldest Chinatown. Need to find time to organize them and come up with a photo essay for my blog. In the meantime, let's start with these four street shots.

A few weeks ago, @francisfuna and I went back to this 10-seater ramen joint along Maginhawa because he was craving for a bowl. There was nothing to write home about on my first try, but I was willing to give it another shot. So off we went.
We waited in line for more than 30 minutes (we normally don't), and I'm glad we did. This creamy bowl of crab ramen was worth the wait!

Now back to work!

Was going to publish a review of another book, but I found myself finishing this one first.

A few more chapters and I'll be done with Katabasis. Honestly, it's already become a tad tiresome to read. Or maybe that's just me?
Anyone else reading/have read this? (No spoilers, please! I just want to know how you feel about it.)

Going through my backlog of book reviews. Glad to tick this off my list.

This UP x DLSU game is stressing me out, I had to look away from the screen and find some distraction.
Really hoping we can push for Game 3! #UPFight

Mendokoro's ramen may be too savory for my taste, but this branch sure serves fantastic interiors that are a treat for the senses. They do make really good gyoza, which is enough reason for me to come back.

Asked @francisfuna to buy me a pint of ice cream so I can properly nurse my disappointment over the loss against La Salle.
Crossing my fingers that UP takes the 2nd and 3rd game! #UPFight

Not a good idea to watch the game against UST while recovering from asthma.😮💨 But yay, Finals bound! 🥳 #UPFight

I was so engrossed in preparing our first case study for publishing that I completely forgot to watch the Battle of Katipunan. So glad to learn that UP won against Ateneo, woot!

Looks like the defending champions aren't playing like the defending champions this season. 😔
I know there's still a lot of time to get their act together, so I do hope the UPMBT can still up their game and channel their pre-season energy.

First time making coffee tonic (I used Rite 'n Lite Lemon and Lime). Not sure yet if I like it.
-
Been a while since I last brewed coffee using this phin filter.
-
Candid's S'mores beans + this pretty mug from Flying Tiger (a colorful addition to my otherwise neutral-hued mugs)
I hope you're all having a relaxing Sunday. 🤗

Happy #WorldPhotographyDay !
Throwback to when I still had the energy and inspiration to style and shoot stuff on our coffee table. 😅
In another life, I would have been a food, product, and/or interior photographer. In this life, I need to pick up my camera more often.

The beans I ordered from Allo have arrived! Unfortunately, I can't try them yet because they still need to degas for a couple more days. 🥲
In the meantime, finishing the last few grams of Milkman beans from The Summer Coffee Co. ☕

Excited to get my coffee beans from this new (to me) roaster: Allo Coffee Roasters. Glad they're available on Lazada.
NGL, the packaging is also a reason that drew me in.

Happiness is ending with a flat bed of coffee grounds after a pour-over extraction.
Today is not a happy day.

Got some leftover coconut milk, so I decided to make a cup of ca phe dua (coconut coffee).
17g medium-dark roast beans
100g hot water
~100g ice
30g coconut milk mixed with 20g low-fat milk
about 1bsp condensed milkI was too lazy to bring out our phin filter, so made do with French press to brew the coffee. Let's see how this tastes like...

Aside from my habilins, my husband also came home with a bag of this freshly roasted beans. It's from Maxi Coffee Bar, a quaint coffee shop in Ann Siang Hill that serves delicious coffee. Glad we had the pleasure of discovering it two years ago.
Can't wait for my Americano!
