On saturday #Godsleep from Greece/Athen (Stoner/Metal) played at my hometown at Vortex Musikclub.
Great show! When they played "Permanent Vacation" I remembered this week's tuesday tune, I think the odd parts are 5/8. -

Apparently there’s an #unusualtimes hashtag about music in unusual time signatures. Well I’d argue that those “unusual” meters aren’t actually unusual (if you just look around the world there’s an abundance of examples) but that’s a discussion for another day. It's #TuneTuesday from @Kitty and @VestigialLung: #UnusualTimes - a song in an unusual time signature.
Perhaps better known for his work with Nick Cave, I'm partial to Warren Ellis's playing with the instrumental trio, Dirty Three. This is about as calm and beautiful as their œuvre gets.
It shifts from 5/4 to 3/4 roughly 1:15 in.

I'll be honest. I love listening to music, but I'm a bit ignorant to a lot of terminology. Had to google this one, but one K-Pop song kept being suggested and its a favorite.
So I'm going with "Side Effects" by Stray Kids which goes from 4/4 verses to a 12/8 chorus, and a lot of beat manipulation.

So this week's #TuneTuesday from @Kitty has the theme suggested by @VestigialLung of #UnusualTimes.
When thinking of that, my mind when to #NineInchNails. But, the more I looked into it, the more I realized a lot of their songs despite their funky beats follow a pretty basic 4/4 time signature.
You know what isn't? Shut Down by #Blackpink. While it appears to be in 6/8 which is not the most wildly uncommon time signature, it's still non-standard & frankly, the best track off their most recent album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POe9SOEKotk
