We are what Tich Nat Hahn called interbeing which goes beyond interconnected, though it is that as well. The South African word ubuntu sums it up well 'I am because you are'.
We are taught that we can be separate, and we can, but in doing so we lose a large part of ourselves. We also deprive ourselves and our kin, all the living constituents of our beautiful planet and universe. Until we accept what I call unity in diversity, a adequate term but a possible starting point, we will continue the hurt and trauma of generations.
Recognition is the first step in the healing process, some of us have recognised that first step. In showing compassion we share the reparation taking place.

π³π§ Apes together strong! π
A tree had fallen on the road, blocking the way. But together, everyone came forward, lifted it, and cleared the road safely. This is the true power of teamwork and community spirit! πͺβ¨

As a member of the European Parliament, I emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among EU member states on foreign matters. We need to work together to address the challenges ahead, such as protecting multilateralism and promoting sustainable development, which is not only a moral obligation but also a security issue.
To achieve these goals, I proposed that the EU look beyond Europe more in this mandate, especially at countries like China, which threaten multilateralism, and involve other like-minded nations such as India, Japan, Canada, and Australia more in our focus. These countries share our values and can help us build a stronger, more united global community.
Here are four concrete proposals:
1. The EU should prioritize sustainable development as an essential part of its foreign policy strategy.
2. The EU should strengthen cooperation with like-minded nations to promote multilateralism and address global challenges.
3. The EU should engage more actively with countries like China, which pose a threat to multilateralism, and work towards finding solutions to the challenges they present.
4. The EU should involve India, Japan, Canada, and Australia more in its focus, as these countries share our values and can help us build a stronger, more united global community.#UnityInAction #GlobalSecurity #SustainableDevelopment #LikeMindedNations

π₯ We must act with unity and transparency to overcome pandemics like COVID-19.
π¬ Science is our best guide, and we must ensure access to vaccines for all.
π° We need to be more self-sufficient in healthcare supply chains and reduce dependence on third countries.
π¨ββοΈ Health professionals should never have to protect themselves with trash bags again.
π No more shortages of medicines, delayed operations, or fake news!
π€ Let's work together to build a European Union of Health, coordinating and leading health policies for the well-being of all citizens.
