Just had a very nice visit for the inauguration of the #UMARC (#Umons Micro gAsturbine Research Centre). This is the lab of prof. Ward De Paepe and his team, where they do research on micro gas turbines, high temperature heat pumps and their role in the #EnergyTransition

Looking forward to the "Fix Your Radio Hour" tonight at 800p Eastern.
At 800p the weekly U of Michigan Amateur Radio Club net on 145.23- PL100 locally, or W8UM/R on #Echolink . Usually runs about 30 minutes. #goblue #umarc
At 830p the weekly ARPSC net on 145.15- PL100 , this is a directed #Skywarn practice net and has an occasional simplex test net at the end. Runs as long as it runs, rarely more than 30 minutes. We'll have a report out on this week's siren test net.

All Hands Active maker space https://allhandsactive.org doesn't have a club license but does do a a regular RepairsDay where I got my 2m ladder line antenna fixed up. #AHA
#UMARC (U of Michigan) https://umarc.eecs.umich.edu meets during academic year.

CW: UMARC / W8UM Sunday night net
The University of Michigan Amateur Radio Club just did its Sunday night net. We meet at 800p local time (Eastern time) on the Ann Arbor 145.23 repeater, or via Echolink on W8UM-R. Pat #WA4DSR was net control.
On the net: troubles with the club #Echolink link (a machine seized up mid-QSO), noting the Michigan football victory, and a query about configuring DMR radios.
