I just renewed my Texas driver license over the phone with an automated system, because I absolutely am not creating a "TxT" account with the DMV's 3rd party provider. I won't install an app or give them extra facts like my email address. They can access my registration, car ownership, and driving record; that private entity doesn't need anything else from me, thank you.
And for the privilege, I paid $33.
