It was a competitive fight, Tsutsumi showing a lot of footwork and aggression, but Donaire was able to counterpunch and buckle Tsutsumi, and gave him a bloody nose; Tsutsumi's punches on the other hand gave him a cut near the eye.
Had Donaire won, it would've been his 4th-time being (& the oldest at 43) Bantamweight Champion.
