  3. #SAML Single Log Out is finally looking good for #tryton … Still some ironing to do wrt the log in window that should reappear after a log out. And then there's the issue of the GTK client to tackle.

SAML libraries in python aren't exactly well documented but I think I had some success in untangeling and matching the code of pysaml2 and the the actual SAML2 norm and protocol.

  11. My integration of #GNUTaler with #Tryton/#GNUHealth is done (for quite some time now).

I developed a Tryton module which would allows users to integrate payments with Taler into their webshops, businesses.

This includes the users of GNU Health (which is built on Tryton) and which provides libre alternatives for Hospital Management software, Health Information Systems and Electronic Health Records.

You can check out the respective module from pypi.org/project/trytoncommuni .

  17. @glyph you might be interested in python-sql which is a protection against SQL injections. It aims to be lighter than full fledged ORMs. Our goal is also to make SQL queries #python objects that are composable and introspectable

We've been using it for years in #tryton so it covers quite a lot of the SQL standard. What's missing from my quick look to dbxs is the typing part.
