It will never stop annoying me when I offer something on #TrashNothing or #Freecycle, and someone says they want it and names a specific day and time when they're going to come pick it up, and then they no-show and ghost me.
If you're enough of a grown-up to be participating in one of these groups, you're enough of one to figure out to show up when you say you're going to or apologize if you can't.
Grow the fuck up, show some respect for other people.

Oh yay! I was able to give those old lanyards away on #TrashNothing!

There's a very cool elderly lady who will be wearing her bus pass with attention-getting high-tech references to grab the eyes of young techies on the buses.

"Excuse me ma'am, did you invent the original ZigBee protocol?"

While I am happy I was able to donate 7 bags of clothes, and post three offers on trash nothing, the fact it did not make a noticeable change in the volume of clutter in the house is frustrating. #hoarding #TrashNothing
It's a start. Need to collect all the books, and see if they can be next.

I find that Montreal folks seem to use freecycle more than TN, but compare to Ottawa which uses both equally; or some other cities which use TN more (or solely) rather than Freecycle.

I like that neither site is tied to Facebook or other big sites like that, far more accessible :)
