I like to jokingly pretend that nobody can tell I'm trans, even though it's honestly pretty damn obvious. I also like to say things that are really only funny if you know I'm trans, otherwise they just sound like I'm an idiot.

The other day at work I mentioned that at most of my past jobs people just called me by my last name. Someone asked, "Was there more than one Julie at those places?"

I replied "There wasn't even one Julie at most of those places."
