Hey, I need help identifying what kind of marten this is. I've never seen it before. It's smaller than the beech martens that usually hang out here. And it seems completely black or at least very dark, which doesn't seem to fit with any of the types of martens that are native to the Netherlands according to the info I could find.

Is it a baby? Or an invasive species? Does anyone know? 😅

This is the 3rd of the “Porcupine vs Small Tree” videos. And as someone suggested before (If it was you, please take credit!) the porcupine DOES appear to be using the tree to rub its belly! 🤭

I went back to look at other videos and noticed she goes out of her way to trample ferns as well. But they don’t bounce back as well. What I originally thought (hoped?) was simply porcupine violence appears to be vegetation tummy scritches.

I love porcupines.

I put up a 🎬 cam at a hole while tracking a 🦫 groundhog on my property. I find out it loved by everyone, 🐱🦝🐿️ cats, raccoons, a possum and birds, all are drawn to it. It is a common party spot day and night! - I need to start charging admission.💲💵

A little raccoon fun for a timeline cleanse.

I have a bird bath with stones in it to allow bees or butterflies that accidentally fall into it to climb out. I put it on the ground at night so these guys don't pull it over and smash it.

Life for these guys is so simple.
