Vissa böcker måste man läsa om, ibland flera gånger. Pappan och havet en sån bok; förstås en del av Tove Janssons Muminvärld.
Jag känner igen mig själv så mycket i Muminpappan, hur han längtar efter ett storslaget äventyr där han är hjälten, men som innerst inne trivs väldigt bra med sitt bekväma, småborgerliga liv och skulle vara ganska vilsen utan den syltkokande Muminmamman som tar hans självupptagna fånigheter med ro.
