We crossed Merri Creek to do some protesting today in Preston, against the Labor approval of North West Shelf Gas extension to 2070.
We stand with former Labor WA Premier Carmen Lawrence, that this approval is a betrayal of us all on climate action.

Some big bumps tonight on Stage 11 of Giro. We enjoyed the pink train following the peloton along the valley. We sometimes cycle beside the Upfield train, but that’s not pink.

Rain meant we rested up today on our couch barking at people passing our front window while Dad blogged about the Barrow St, Coburg modal filter road closure trial coming up for decision by #MerribekCouncil on Wednesday evening that could improve safety for #ActiveTransport, especially local school kids..🐶🐶

By way of #Introduction, we are two very precocious Chihuahuas engaged in #LifeInFawkner in #Merribek and navigating and philosophising our way through the Anthropocene. We are also foundational members of #ChihuahuasForClimateAction and are honourary members of local cycling advocacy group #MerribekBUG.

We take our human carer cycling just about everyday - he really does need the regular exercise. And we are happy to go to the dog park to send and receive our peemails.
