For #Toorcamp2024, I taught my EMF Explorer Badge soldering workshop to wonderfully attentive students. We went through about 40 kits, and there were SO many interesting things to listen to across the campgrounds! The event happens every other year on Orcas Island. Great way to relax in the woods with 700 nerds camping amongst tech.

I am gloriously (and happily) unemployed!
Previous employer was good and I could see returning but an opportunity came up that was worth chasing. That will happen in September. Until then I'm just off!
I started my unemployment by attending #ToorCamp for the first time. I can think of no better way to kick off a summer of fun.
Thank you to all the amazing people who made me feel welcome and gave me a phenomenal experience!

Another #toorcamp nighttime picture as well as a couple #meshtastic node maps (not all nodes pictured). We had over 100 nodes in the area. Channel utilization was around 50-60%. Given the density we should encourage use of the SHORT_FAST preset next time instead of the LONG_FAST default. #toorcamp2024

Crap. Sorry y'all but the pager thing isn't happening this year. Too many blocking issues and I ran out of time.
We will have a bunch of fresh local cherries though as well as a bit of freeze-dried candy for folks to try.
