Total, hasi naizela katxarreatzen #Mullvad kendu eta #Xeovo jartzeko #Wireguard bidez, ez dut lortu guztiz nahi nuen bezala funtzionatzea, jarraitu dut gida bat dena desinstalatzeko... eta orain ez daukat internet konexiorik ordenagailuan.
Hementxe #TimeShiftekin jolasten aber lortzen dudan gauzak zeuden bezala uztea.

Is it just me or is the latest build of Timeshift (25.12.4) now faster in Fedora KDE?
Creating snapshots & restoring takes no more than 3 secs. (been waiting for the patched from Linux Mint to make its way on Fedora 43, 44 from Dec 2025 that solves the snapshot deletion issue)

Je sais pas vous, mais chez moi #boot-repair sous #LinuxMint c'est systématiquement un désastre. Sans #Timeshift je serais carrément mort.
I don't know for you, but on my system, #boot-repair under #LinuxMint is always a disaster. Without #Timeshift, I'd be completely dead.

Das Dreckstimeshift benutzt ¼ Speicher der NVME
Platte ist zu 95% voll.
Warum 5 riesige Snaphots? Und das jeden Tag Grrrr ? 😡sudo timeshift --delete-all

My linuxmint system system drive was filling up. I had a large "other" drive that had little on it. I worked with claude.ai to move timeshift and symlink it to the larger drive. the claude session is recorded here:

Le temps de taper ce message sur mon smartphone et c'ést réparé. Je suis content d'avoir installé #Timeshift ; ce truc marche du tonnère: "sudo timeshift --restore" et hop c'est magique.

En mode #Timeshift je m'absente une heure et rien ne va plus. Il y a quelques jours, j'ai installé #Timeshift sur ma #Debian en me disant "on ne sait jamais" et bien, j'ai du flaire pour une fois.

Je viens de réaliser que #timeshift, sur mon pc sous #linux, en #btrfs, ne backup pas /boot qui est sur une partition à part que / en btrfs.
C’est grave ? J’imagine que ça peut poser des problèmes si je restaure sur une version qui utilisais un noyau différent ?
C’est mon partitionnement qui est mauvais ? 🤔

I noticed latest #TimeShift system snapshot had increased by 46 GB relative to normal. (It has no noticeable impact normally, but I was suddenly out 46 GB.)
Two log files had each grown to be 23 GB and were not hard-linked against existing snapshots.
I saw two issues.
1.) A reoccurring PCIE error message about my half-working WIFI card.
2.) ufw firewall is blocking access to two IPs that look to be local IPs.Ordered a new m.2 WIFI card.
I'll mess with the firewall later. -
