  1. Every three months I like to manually run TimeShift to create a quarterly snapshot. I keep the quarterly snapshots for the previous year in addition to any other system snapshots, just in case. I know I do not need to keep snapshots that old as I am unlikely to ever roll back more than a week, but I do it anyway.

I forgot to run my quarterly snapshot at the beginning of this month, so I ran it today. That is all.

  5. @nicholasr @nixCraft only on #fedora they make it more difficult to setup. Because you typically want a #swappartition not a #zram or whatever #fedora uses. I installed #fedoraKDE with #btrfs subvolumes for #timeshift, made a big #swappartition, then searched on the inter webs how to remove #zram. Then it works.
`systemctl hibernate` is the command, btw.

  6. Blöd, wenn ich in #Manjaro #Timeshift offen habe und das System aktualisieren möchte und es nicht geht, mit kryptischer Fehlermeldung "kann nicht pre transaction hooks ausführen" (so etwa).
