Last day of the TIG welding course: welding a "snake", and see what fiddling with the amperage does to your welds (basically ruining it 😂).
Managed to create some reasonably clean welds too, but these were more luck than skill, especially on 1mm stainless.
Also welded some aluminum (AC TIG), but that's a whole different ballgame. -
@TicklishHoneyBee Is that stick welding? I bought an inverter and so far have only used it for stick welding but I also got the TIG kit and a bottle of Argon for a project. I designed a forge and had it plasma cut so I have a steel jigsaw puzzle to weld up #welding #metalwork #TIGwelding
