Fascinating to see everybody celebrating the 40th anniversary of The George yesterday. While, many years ago, I had some nice nights out there with friends, it's not somewhere I'd choose to go. The George is great for people who fit into the stereotypes of the LGBTQ community. I think it's important to remember that not everyone fits in there, even if they are part of that community. It's also the only place I remember getting abuse for peeing while trans.
