I adjusted my new #Tech7 boots before today's ride, improving their fit. I'm either used to how they feel on the brake, or barely used the rear today, because I didn't notice any issues. 🤷
They flexed more easily today, but shifting up was harder than before, which makes no sense at all. Not bad, just clunkier, not as slick as I expect from me.
I only walked very short distances but they were fine. On the bike, they're *more* comfortable than the #Toucans. I know, right? 🤯

I went for a burn to test my new #Tech7 boots. The sky was clouding early, so I ended up at Mt Hay, Leura. 2wd dirt road, with fantastic views and walks. I didn't test the boot's walkability today. Home as rain started spitting.
The boots are good, but bulky. I improved the fit when I got home, but may still need to lower the brake a tad. I think shifting will get easier as they break in, if not, it's more fiddling/longer lever.

My AlpineStars Toucan adv boots have reached end of life - a bit quickly @ only 45k dusty km, IMO. But they have been good $ have probably stopped some injury. I wanted waterproof again, but a touch more protection, so I went for #AlpineStars #Tech7 Drystar MX/enduro style. I asked MCAS if they'd price match Bikebiz (30 off). They agreed, & bugger me, I saved $90 as Bikebiz had a special I was unaware of. Huzzah! Winning! I'll comment on how they feel shortly.
