#Heatwave: Birdsville reached 49.4°C, just 0.1°C less than Qld's highest recorded temp

#Cyclone: Category 3 Severe #TCKirrily is now expected to make landfall just north of Townsville around 11 pm . Currently Gusts of more than 170km/hr hitting Whitsunday Islands.
